We offer two different fare options.

Walkabout 1: 25,000 miles Maximum (for the lowest fare)
Walkabout 2: 29,000 miles Maximum. (for increased flight/stopover options)

Stopovers Permitted: 7 Stops in total including your destination in Australia / New Zealand.
Both options above allow the purchase of an optional airpass for additional stopovers in Australia/NZ with flights from only £40 per sector!

The Basic Rules of the World Discovery Plus Round the World Ticket

Airport Taxes and Airline Fuel Surcharges: Vary depending on your route and exchange rates at the time of ticketing. Range from £250 to £600 depending on your destinations. Please call us for a quote.

Minimum/maximum trip duration:
Saturday night minimum stay. Maximum trip duration 365 days. Open dated tickets are not possible.

Stops:
A maximum of 7 free stopovers permitted including point of turnaround, .
Only one stopover permitted in Australia and New Zealand. Open Jaws are permitted so you can fly into one and depart from another city and it will just count as a single stopover. For additional stopovers on Aus/NZ please see the Walkabout Pass above which allows up to 6 extra flights from only £40 per flights

Transits:
Unlimited transit stops can be made within 24 hours in Europe, Asia, Africa, The Americas and Australasia. Transits are included in the total mileage calculation for the ticket.

Surface sectors:
Permitted. Each surface sector counts as one stop and is included in the total mileage and stopover calculation for the ticket.

Basic Route:
Travel can be "around the world" or "out and back" in any direction either way ("out and back" destination must be a major Australasia city). The total journey must not exceed 25,000 miles (Walkabout 1) or 29,000 miles (Walkabout 2) . Backtracking is permitted - But check mileage. ONLY ONE ARRIVAL & ONE DEPARTURE INTO/OUT OF THE SOUTH WEST PACIFIC PERMITTED
Flight restrictions:
British Airways codeshare flights within the USA are not permitted.
QF17/18 is not permitted on Walkabout 1 fare. It is Permitted on Walkabout 2
No Domestic travel within Aus/NZ - Please see Airpass above for this.
Codeshare Flights:

Walkabout 1: Permitted QF/SA, QF/BA, BA/QF, BA/CX, QF/JQ, QF/FJ, QF/AA –
between NYC-LAX/SFO, LAX-SFO & LAX/SFO-HNL

Walkabout 2: Permitted –EXCEPT- QF329/330, QF358/359, QF367/368 and on
BA codeshare services within USA

On Cathay Pacific only flights Bangkok - Hong Kong / Bangkok - Singapore / Singapore - Hong Kong / Hong Kong - Denpasar and vice versa are permitted.

Payment: A non-refundable deposit of £75 will secure your seat. We will then forward a detailed itinerary and confirmation by email. Any changes you wish to make should be advised within 7 days of booking and before your balance is paid. Due to varying ticket time limits imposed by the airlines, we normally request payment within 10 days of making your original reservation. The exact balance due date will be advised to you at time of booking and shown on your confirmation invoice. (There is a 2% handling fee of paying your balance by credit card).
Changes: After starting your trip date changes are permitted (small local admin fee may apply)
Once you have started your trip all changes must be made directly with the airline.
Child fares:
75% of adult fare for children 2 - 11 years old throughout duration of trip (No discount on surcharges and taxes).

Infant fares:
10% of adult fare for infants under 2 years old throughout duration of trip (No discount on surcharges).

Cancellation fees:Penalties apply for cancellation. Please ask our consultants for details.
No refunds permitted on partly used tickets,
