The Basic Rules of the World Discovery Plus Round the World Ticket
Airport Taxes and Airline Fuel Surcharges:
Vary depending on your route and exchange rates at the time of ticketing. Range from £300 to £600 depending on your destinations. Please call us for a quote.

Minimum/maximum trip duration:
Saturday night minimum stay. Maximum trip duration 365 days. Open dated tickets are not possible.

Stops:
A maximum of 7 free stopovers permitted.
Maximum of 3 stopovers permitted in Australia and a maximum of 3 stopovers permitted in New Zealand.

Transits:
Unlimited transit stops can be made within 24 hours in Europe, Asia, Africa, The Americas and Australasia. Transits are included in the total mileage calculation for the ticket.

Surface sectors:
Permitted. Each surface sector counts as one stop and is included in the total mileage and stopover calculation for the ticket.

Basic Route:
Travel can be "around the world" or "out and back" in any direction either way ("out and back" destination must be a major Australasia city). The total journey must not exceed 29,000 miles.

Additional mileage:
 An additional 1,500 miles can be purchased for £109 and 3,000 miles can be purchased  for £219. This does not increase your stopover allowance.

Flight restrictions:
British Airways codeshare flights within the USA and Qantas flight numbers QF329/330, QF358/359,  QF367/368  are not permitted.
On Cathay Pacific only flights Bangkok - Hong Kong / Bangkok - Singapore / Singapore - Hong Kong / Singapore - Jakarta / Hong Kong - Denpasar and vice versa are permitted.

Payment:
A non-refundable deposit of £75 will secure your seat (£150 for business or first class). We will then email your itinerary and confirmation to you. You will then have 10 days to check your itinerary over and to make sure it is exactly what you want. Once you are happy with your itinerary you must make final payment in full. This payment must be make no later than 10 days after your original booking was made. (There is a 2% handling fee of paying your balance by credit card).

Changes:
After starting your trip date changes are free or for a small local admin fee. Route changes are £50 (or local equivalent).
Once you have started your trip all changes must be made directly with the airline.
Before starting your trip date and/or route changes cost £150 per ticket.

Child fares:
75% of adult fare for children 2 - 11 years old throughout duration of trip (No discount on surcharges and taxes).

Infant fares:
10% of adult fare for infants under 2 years old throughout duration of trip (No discount on surcharges).

Cancellation fees:
Before departure - 50% of airfare.
After departure - no refund.
