The Basic Rules of the World Discovery
Round the World Ticket

Airport Taxes and Airline Fuel Surcharges:
Vary depending on your route and exchange rates at the time of ticketing. Range from £300 to £500 depending on your destinations. Please call us for a quote.

Minimum/maximum trip duration:
Saturday night minimum stay. Maximum trip duration 365 days. Open dated tickets are not possible.

Stopovers:
A maximum of 6 free stopovers permitted, of which only 2 stops are permitted in Australia and 2 stops are permitted in New Zealand.
Choose from:
Asia - Mumbai
Far East - Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Tokyo, Denpasar, Jakarta.
Africa - Johannesburg
USA - New York, Los Angeles, Honolulu, San Francisco
Australia/Pacific - Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Cairns, Darwin or Perth. Fiji
New Zealand - Auckland, Christchurch, Queenstown, Wellington.

Transits:
Unlimited transit stops can be made at the following points - Mumbai, Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Tokyo, Denpasar, Jakarta, Johannesburg, New York, Los Angeles, Honolulu, Fiji, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Cairns, Darwin, Perth, Auckland, Christchurch, Queenstown, Wellington. Transits are included in the total mileage calculation for the ticket.

Surface sectors:
Permitted. Each surface sector counts as one stop and is included in the total mileage and stopover calculation for the ticket.

Basic Route:
Travel must be in a continuous Eastbound or Westbound global direction without backtracking, except within Australia and New Zealand and between Singpore and Bali. The total journey must not exceed 29,000 miles.

Additional mileage:
An additional 1,500 miles can be purchased for £109 and 3,500 miles can be purchased for £219. This does not increase your stopover allowance.

Ticket deadline:
Tickets will be issued at least 2 months before departure. Any bookings made within 60 days of departure will be issued within 14 days of reservation.

Payment:
A non-refundable deposit of £75 will secure your seat (£150 for business or first class). We will then email your itinerary and confirmation to you. You will then have 10 days to check your itinerary over and to make it meets your requirementst. Once you are happy with your itinerary you must make final payment in full. This payment must be make no later than 10 days after your original booking was made. (There is a 2% handling fee of paying your balance by credit card).

Changes:
After starting your trip date changes are free or for a small local admin fee. Route changes are £50 (or local equivalent).
Once you have started your trip all changes must be made directly with the airline.
Before starting your trip date and/or route changes cost £150 per ticket.

Cancellations:
Refund before departure - 50% of airfare.
Refund after departure or no-show - no refund.
