The Basic Rules of the SkyTeam Round the World Ticket
Airport Taxes and Airline Fuel Surcharges:
Vary depending on your route and exchange rates at the time of ticketing. Range from £150 to £300 depending on your destinations. Please call us for a quote.

Minimum/maximum trip duration:
10 days minimum. Maximum trip duration 365 days.

Stopovers:
Minimum of 3 stopovers. Maximum of 15 stopovers (No more than 24 sectors, including surface sectors permitted on the entire journey). (Exeption - maximum of  5 stopovers permitted on the 26,000 mile ticket)
Only 1 stop permitted in same city.
No more than 5 stopovers permitted within Europe.
No more than 5 stopovers permitted within Australia.
No more than 5 stopovers permitted within continental USA and Canada including gateways.
No more than 3 stopovers permitted within Japan.

Transits:
Unlimited transits permitted (subject to maximum sector limit above). Transits are included in the total mileage calculation for the ticket.

Surface sectors:
Permitted. Each surface sector counts as one stop and is included in the total mileage and stopover calculation for the ticket.

Basic Route:
Your itinerary must include one transatlantic flight and one transpacific flight. It has to start and end in the United Kingdom. Backtracking is permitted but can substantially increase the mileage.

Payment:
A non-refundable deposit of £75 will secure your seat (£150 for business or first class). We will then email your itinerary and confirmation to you. You will then have 10 days to check your itinerary over and to make sure it is exactly what you want. Once you are happy with your itinerary you must make final payment in full. This payment must be make no later than 10 days after your original booking was made. (There is a 2% handling fee of paying your balance by credit card).

Changes:
After starting your trip date and route changes are $100 USD. Change fee does not apply when confirming open segments.
Once you have started your trip all changes must be made directly with the airline.
Before starting your trip date and/or route changes cost £150 per ticket.

Child fares:
75% of adult fare for children 2 - 11 years old throughout duartion of trip (No discount on surcharges and taxes).

Infant fares:
10% of adult fare for infants under 2 years old throughout duration of trip (No discount on surcharges).

Cancellation fees:
Before departure - 50% of airfare.
After departure - no refund.
