| How to book - When you buy a pass you will receive a voucher and you have up to 12 months to start your trip once this has been issued. - When you arrive in Australia you can either phone the Oz Experience office, email or simply visit them to book your start date (contact details will be sent with your voucher). When you get on your first bus your voucher will be exchanged for a ticket and this will then be valid for 6 months over your selected travel route. Some basic rules and conditions - Expired passes can be extended for a further period for a fee of $50 (payable locally) per 3 month period of extension. - Pay On Board Fees are payable to the driver for the following sectors at the following rates (1st April 2005 - 31st April 2006) Fees may increase after 31st March 2006. Sydney to Cairns: AUD$35 (ferry and outback dinner kitty). Cairns to Darwin: AUD$75 (meals and accommodation kitty). Cairns to Alice Springs: AUD$55 (meals kitty). Uluru: AUD$50 (meals, park entry & camping fee's kitty). Adelaide to Melbourne: AUD$60 (accommodation and meals kitty). Melbourne to Sydney: AUD$75 (accommodation, park entry and meals kitty). - To help ensure your seat, confirm your departure at least 7 days prior to departure. - Should a client fail to appear for a confirmed departure date and point their ticket becomes void until a AUD$50 penalty fee is paid to reinstate the ticket. - Children 7 years and under are not permitted to travel on any tour.
