Airport hassles. Traffic jams. Who needs them? With Inter-Rail you travel the easy way - from city centre to city centre, giving you more time to make the most of your visit. No check-in queues or struggling into town from the airport.. All you have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.

Total Freedom and Flexibility
Why tie yourself down to restrictive airline or bus schedules? The incredible flexibility of your Inter-Rail pass means you can travel when and where you want. Nothing beats the European network for range and frequency. And with so many trains to choose from, you can decide whether you want to zoom from A to B or take a more leisurely route.

Travel Tips
-Always carry travellers cheques. If you lose them or have them stolen you can usually claim the money back.
-To save money, travel overnight as the accommodation is generally cheaper.
-Make sure you get insurance. Backpackers and tourists are a prime target for thieves.
-Use a small padlock on your backpack and keep valuables with you in your money belt/day bag.
-Never pack too many clothes. They can easily be washed and dried overnight.
-Keep a couple of carrier bags handy to wrap dirty shoes or rubbish in.
-Wear a hat or bandana to protect your head from hours in the sun.
-Remember, you may be travelling in countries with different climates, so be prepared for all weathers.
-Take a small first aid kit containing the following: plasters, antihistamine tablets, pain killers, crepe bandage, antacids, antiseptic cream, alka-seltzer (for those mornings after!). Some of these items can be bought abroad, but it is good to have them in case there are no pharmacies nearby.
-Remember, the smaller and lighter your rucksack, the happier you will be.
