Only one child reduction per adult fare paid. All passengers aged under 16 years at the time of check-in MUST be accompanied by a person of 18 years or over. Infants under 2 years at the time of return travel and not occupying a seat: £40 each in all classes. Sky cots are not available onboard XL Airways Aircraft. On Caribbean routes, infants have a baggage allowance of 5 kgs. Unaccompanied minors: Unaccompanied minors will not be accepted for travel with XL Airways. On Caribbean routes children or young people under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over. Local Departure Tax: Approx. $20 Expectant mothers: After 28 weeks of pregnancy, prior notification of travel must be given to XL Airways. A medical certificate will be required stating the stage of pregnancy for the homeward flight and confirming fitness to fly. Expectant mothers will be accepted for carriage up to the end of the 33rd week of pregnancy, on the return journey. We recommend that all expectant mothers carry a medical certificate for intended travel. Special meals: Every endeavour is made to meet passengers special dietary requirements, however these must be notified to Special Requirements between 3 months and 12pm 3 working days prior to departure and cannot be guaranteed. Customers who are allergic to certain types of food should advise the Pre-flight department. There will be a charge of £10.00 for a kosher meal, these need to be pre-ordered at least one week prior to departure with the Pre-flight department. Kosher meals are not available on flights from the Caribbean to the UK. Celebrations: Champagne and chocolates may be pre-ordered on all flights. Champagne - £25 for a full bottle. Chocolates - £15 for a box of Thornton's chocolates. The above celebrations must be ordered via the Pre-flight department. Please note we cannot accept any requests received more than 3 months, or after 12pm 3 working days, prior to departure. Wheelchair assistance: Powered Wheelchairs can be carried using dry and gel cell batteries, providing prior notification has been given to the Pre-flight department. The battery must be disconnected and the terminals insulated. Please ensure that the battery is securely attached to the wheelchair/mobility aid. All wheelchairs are carried free of charge and are in addition to the passengers normal baggage allowance. These must be pre-booked along with all wheelchair assistance, through the Pre-flight department. Passengers requiring wheelchair assistance are identified as follows: WCHR- passengers who can ascend and descend the aircraft steps and make their own way to the aircraft seat but cannot walk long distances. WCHS- passengers who are unable to ascend/descend the aircraft steps, but can make their own way to the aircraft seat. WCHC- Passengers who are totally immobile and need lifting into the aircraft seat. All passengers who require WCHC assistance must travel with a carer. Bookings within 14 days of departure: A ticket on departure fee of £15 will be levied on all bookings made within 14 days of departure. Tickets must be collected from the Skybreak Desk desk in Zone H, South Terminal, Gatwick Airport, 2 to 3 hours prior to the scheduled flight departure. Deposits: We require a deposit of £125 (in Economy) and £150 (in Excel One) per person at the time of booking with full balance being paid at least 10 weeks prior to departure. Credit Card Charges: We do not charge for any Debit Card transactions. There is a 2% charge for payments on Credit Card. Cancellation Fees: More than 2 months before departure - loss of deposit. Between 2 and 1 month before departure - 75% of total cost. Less than 1 month before departure - 100% of total cost. |
